Greetings my friend. I am Radhika Dontala, a Western/Tropical astrologer and Doctor of Medicine. I am of South Indian heritage, born and raised in Norway. I come from a family background of medicine, and I followed in those footsteps until I realized that was a limiting journey for me in this life.
It was only once I graduated my truest learning began. Unwilling to pursue a career in a field which felt loveless yet unsure of where my trail to loveliness lay, I searched landscapes of what is known as alternative medicine such as Ayurveda, TCM, and naturopathy.
My heart remained uncaptured even though herbal, energetic, and traditional medicine are essential to my personal healing. As a former classical South Indian dancer and lover of prose, there was a yearning to work with something that would feel like art.
Eventually, Astrology gathered me into its ancient, enchanting, and loving embrace. The cosmic loom so deftly weaving the threads of our living tales is art in rhythmic motion. Your place as co-weaver is just as majestic to behold.
My studies of Western medicine, Mind-Body medicine, nutrition, Alchemy, and depth psychology dwell together harmoniously within the deep and vast ocean of knowledge that is Astrology. Every component influences the other; the mental, the emotional, the physical, the relational, and the environmental. Enduring vitality and joy is dependent on understanding the medicinal magic in the entirety of the human experience. Holistic healing is simply the natural way, the only way, when one chooses the path of the stars.
The interplay of energies in the chart is expressed through our human avatar, which is a unique manifestation of the unified field of consciousness. By dissolving false boundaries between all that encompasses the Earthling experience, the return Home to playful flow is made possible. Embracing the fullness of our nature yields a delightful union with Self, with Other, with Everything. The most formidable healing and creative potential is in the Sacred Union of our own energies.
I see this work as a perpetual romance with energy. A quest for intimacy with the matrix of Creation, an ever growing and deepening bond sustained by mutual attention and tenderness.
My intention is for you to gaze upon your Self in rapture, for you to heal the very juice in your cells, for you to be engulfed in the fabric of peace, for you to be the benevolent ruler of your inner kingdom, for the offerings of your inner Creator to grow every day, and for you to unleash the fury of your laughter and your love upon the Earth.
